In the case of an emergency where a customer is unable to disarm their system, the monitoring station may call to verify the alarm. When the monitoring station calls, the customer will be asked to provide their verbal passcode to verify their identity, confirm if the alarm is valid, and cancel it if it is a false alarm. Only providing the correct passcode can cancel a false alarm. If the wrong passcode is provided, authorities will be dispatched.
